The girl who never smiled It was rare, to see her smile, or hear her laugh. Most of us considered it a gift, a valuable moment when we saw her lip twitch or heard a soft chuckle under her breath. But that was Gwen. She wasn't very easy to get along with. Always grumpy, always seeing the logical side of our dreams. She was always the one that got the money's and directions for our random road trips, the one that helped us with homework. Honestly with out her I bet our little group of friends would have failed high school, or ended up in jail, or both. She was like the mother of our group. Even if she wasn't the oldest. But although we were all very close. She was the girl that never smiled

She always made her life seem good to all her friends, so no one ever cared to take a deeper look into what it's liked behind closed doors.
