This notion could be seen as heroic and courageous, but Ambrogio, the first vampire to roam the Earth and Nikolai's mate, finds this action mental. How could Nikolai do this to his own mate?
In result, Ambrogio goes to both ends of the world and even other realms to find his mate, even if Nikolai would have wanted him to or not.
