Into the wind

"Your whole world just became one fucked up cliche, didn't it?" A bitter laugh escapes my lips.

"Fucked up? Because I didn't listen to you?" I question as tears slide down my face.

"No, because you were dumb enough to involve yourself with him." The humour which previously graced his face was gone. His tone now laced with the coldness I'd grown used to. "There were two sides, you chose his."

"And then he practically fucked my best friend in front of me. But the worst part is that my own brother won't even look at me."

His hardened eyes suddenly meet mine, "You were saying."

"You want cliches, well I never fell in love with your best friend."

"But he fell in love with you."
