Star’s Light….A Soul’s Cry
“I know who I luh uh uh uh uh uv…!” Star dropped her head upon her last note. The crowd’s roars and chants made it official; she was now “DIVA” status. She had been on many stages before; this was the first time under the contract of Heaven and Earth Loving Lyrics Inc.
Tori Wright founder of H.E.L.L. INC owned Star's soul, the contract proved it. Star waved to her fans as she jogged off stage. Flickering lights from cameras blinded her. She pushed through the crowd and every so often, a fan would reach out to get a touch of the beauty before them. "We love you Star!", "You handled it, baby!" She heard random shouts over the chaotic atmosphere stumbling to her dressing room. "I love you guys, too!" She managed to muster up, reaching her dressing room. "You got about an hour before we roll, Star. I'll be right outside." She leaned against the metal door sending a cool sensation up her back. Before she could appreciate the silence, a blow to the cheek struck her. "Bitch, you don't leave off stage till I give the signal. Fuck is you thinking.” Tori zoned in on Star releasing several blows. Tori stood 5ft 5, with heels on, Star towered over her in height but fear of Tori chopped Star's 5'11" frame down to an easy 4 ft. Who fathomed H.E.L.L. was ran by a woman.
She was satin's niece and the venom she spat was as lethal as her words. It cut like a knife through Star's esteem. Star crunched over trying to protect her face. "I...I...couldn't see your signal Jay! The lights...the lights blinded my view." Tori stopped for a second. Star was safe to speak.
