This is a true story of a girl who's family was hit hard by the economic crisis in California and ended up homeless living in the back of her mother's store, however despite all the hardships and different adversities that Vivianna had to face she overcame them and it fueled her to do well in school and get good grades to finally get accepted to her dream school, The University of California, Los Angeles.
