Kate screamed as the pain ripped through her body all the years of pain carefully tucked away now out for all the world to see. She was at their mercy as the sobs racked her body. No she thought I've surived worse at that thought her pain intensified making thinking almost impossible.
Oh but she wanted nothing more but to dissolve into a puddle of nothingness nothing feels no pain at least that's what she thought. She screwed her eyes shut and then opened them the flecks in them glowing purple as she felt the power in her mind grow and explode outward and destroy the machine she was in and slowly walked and she grined through her remaining pain.

I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up.
