"Go back to playing with dolls and shopping with your friends. This sport isn't for a girl like you, leave it to the people who can actually play this game." His words stung me.

Was he telling me I couldn't do something! 
Was he saying I wasn't good enough!

"Are you scared I can become a better player than you? Do you fell threatened by me or something?!" I was furious now! How could he even say something like that to me!

"Threatened? Scared of you? I'm not scared of you. I'm scared for you! I know you are going to get hurt and I'm not going to let you do that to yourself if it's the last thing I do." His voice a whisper, he nearly sounded defeated.

"Well than I'm going to get hurt, because nothing is going to stop me from keeping on playing" I said ending the conversation by leaving the gym.
