Awoken

A young orphan with a strange affinity for blood struggles to overcome racism and to raise enough money for survival. After being kidnapped by a shadowy group of assassins, she learns that her growing thirst for blood is no accident. She is one of them.
Deep in the bowels of the earth, long-dead bones are stirring. Great dragons, some the size of palaces, and huge razor-toothed reptiles terrorize the people of Beaufort. Driven by both self-preservation and responsibility, a subgroup of assassins and the orphan embark on a mission to their homeland to end the problem at its source.
