September 1st: the first day of St Roy's boarding school for 16-21 year olds. Felicity Johnson is just one of the new batch of newly enrolled teenagers. St Roy's boarding school, like any school, has a social hierarchy. Due to the vast amount of fights and poor behaviour, St Roy's boarding school is disparately trying to stop the clique-y system. It is commonly known that you must stay within your social group and must not mix with students who are seen as being higher or lower down on the hierarchy system than you. This means if you have watched doctor who for longer than the two minutes it takes for you to turn over, then you shall sit on the table next to the door in the cafeteria at lunch with the other members of your social group. If you smoke, drink excessive amounts of alcohol from 'dodgey joes', the local off licence that sells to minors, dabble in illegal substances or take delight in wasting lesson time ect, then you are more than likely going to be a member of 'Bad'. The 'Bad kids' are avoided by the rest of the other groups of kids as they are known for their violence. What will happen to Felicity Johnson when she is put in a flat with kids that are desperate to be 'bad' as well as 'teacher-needy doctor who addicts'. Who's side will she choose?

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

"What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." "Tutor code?" I ask, puzzled. "Yes, the tutor code. It states that a student must make sure his tutor is never upset or crying and if he does ever find her like this it's his job to make her smile at any cost," he tells me. "You just made that up." "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. And just maybe making a deal with the bad boy isn't such a smart idea. ~*~*~ *contains mature language* #9 in high school 20/02/19 #1 in young love 14/03/19 #2 in chicklit 27/03/19 #1 in heartbreak 08/04/19 #21 in teenfiction 26/08/20 #10 in romance 26/08/20 #1 in bad boy 02/04/21
