He shoved a phone in my face and sure enough, my friends were on the other side of the screen watching me with wide eyes.
"Joker stop now! She's innocent please!"
Robin fell to his knees as he plead the Joker to spare me.
The Joker laughed and grabbed my face with his thumb and finger before shoving my face towards the small screen.
"Too late bird-boy!"
His large hand reached to my IV machine to switch a large lever. It only took a moment for me to start feeling the effects of the device. As my powers drained for my already weak body, my eyes were starting to droop from exhaustion.
"R-Ro..."
That's when everything went black and I feared that I would never wake up again.
If only I hadn't woken up; maybe I would have been spared of the pain and torture to follow me for the rest of my life.
