Bucky Barnes/ The Winter Soldier is obviously our most beloved badass. We all know he fell off of a train and became the Winter Soldier.... but this novel tells the story of what happened to him while he was taken by Hydra. He falls in love with another captive, a girl named Rose who was taken from the small village of Leszno, Poland after it was destroyed.
70 years later, they are found fighting for different teams. While the Avengers are called upon to fight Hydra, they meet again. Is the boundary between hero and villain one too high to jump over? Or will the two rekindle the love they once had for each other?
