The novel "Light" follows the life of Nathan Lockman; a 23 year old middle class American caught in the midst of post apocalyptic Portland Oregon after his plane crashes. This dystopian state was caused by a biological agent that makes people become blind, and takes away their memory. Nathan must fight to survive in this world of bandits, cannibals, and people willing to do anything to stay alive.
