I wrapped my heart in a barbed wire, in effort to keep people away. If someone tried to break it, they'd cut themselves, they'd feel my pain.

Then she appeared, who knows how. She was going to die. I could save her.

But she seemed to look through me, and I couldn't get a read on her. Everything she said could be lies, for all I knew.

I didn't want my secrets going around.

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch. The enormity of control it took me to suppress the impulse to eradicate the piece of scum, who dared to even think about laying a hand on a woman, was inconceivable. My whole body was trembling with rage. The guy was intimidated by the fury in my eyes and stumbled back to his intoxicated friends who were too dazed to understand the situation. But still he wasn't sure he's been feeling a little out of place " I just wanted to ask lately I've been feeling not myself is this some kind of trauma thing?" " well...Mr Jones how do you feel?" The therapist asks him " actually I feel as if my adrenaline rush is thrilling, sometimes my heart beats fast and......I can't...breath..and thats when there's this-" He laid eyes closed and relaxed "- tingling feeling in you" His therapist finished with a brief sigh. " yeah...that's how I feel.....is it...serious?" He worried "no Mr Jones...what you're feeling is normal for every man, its what we call sparks...you yourself I think you know what it means....the only question is."............ "who exactly it is that you feel this things around?" There was a brief silence and a painful feeling knowing exactly who it was................a certain raven haired girl.
