Normandie is a departement (state) of France.
It lies at the top, near England.
It began to exist when Vikings from what is now called Norway, "immigrated" into France following a deal made by France's king at that time and the viking leader. The deal meant that France's king would give land (Normandie) for the vikings to live in and in return, they would stop the raids.
This is Norway x France.
