This takes place a few months after City of Lost Souls (in The Mortal Instruments/ Shadowhunter Chronicles universe). I had to deal with the Malec break up! The idea of this has been in my head for several months but it’s just taken a while to get it written. The only CoHF snippet I was aware of was the cell phone thing. Anything else similar is a cool coincidence…. This story was started before City of Heavenly Fire was released and continues in a timeline unaware of the incidents in that book.
These characters aren’t mine, as I’m just borrowing them. All of The Mortal Instruments/ Shadowhunters Chronicles characters and their world belong to Cassandra Clare. I just had to write this, so I’m borrowing them. No copyright infringement intended.
