Stonepaw is a hard-working apprentice, fiercely loyal to Thunderclan, with his warrior name in sight. His Clan is the most important thing to him. But when StarClan shares a troubling prophecy, Stonepaw is forced to make a choice. Stay loyal to his Clan, and risk the after-affects of the failed prophecy? Or obey his starry ancestors and stray from the path he has walked since birth?
Meanwhile, Darkpaw is struggling to impress his Clanmates. He isn't strong and brave like Stonepaw. But when a long-dead cat with stars in his fur visits Darkpaw in his dreams, the young apprentice realizes he does have power, but it's buried deep within him.
The two apprentices learn more and more about their destiny, and make decisions that will change the future of the Clans forever

But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging.
