Amelia's life is a series of beatings and abuse from her older brother Connar. She's got her whole life in front of her.... That is, if she can survive her brother's beatings for two more years until she graduates. Her parents are dead. She has lived with her alcoholic brother for three years, he's beat her since the first day, and she was only fourteen, three years later, and it still hasn't changed. Amelia meets Lucah, a seventeen year old high school boy. Lucah's father is very ill, and isn't expected to make a recovery. His mother died when he was a little boy, he's all he has left. These two have an undeniable, but very complex relationship after meeting in an unfamiliar way. When fate takes a turn, limits are tested and danger is promising. What happens when life causes a collision?
