"This message will self destruct in 5 seconds." He turned to look at me, a quizzical expression covering his features. "No, no, no, no! Don't give me that look I know what that means!" I said, defensively. What is it that one does hours before when the Kremlin's intact but once you leave having failed your original objective, it implodes causing the entire world to heap its destruction onto your shoulders, in turn making Russian agents track you down over a series of nations, borders and buildings which simultaneously reveals your actual heritage and the whereabouts of your Mother of whom, you'd been lead to believe died a long time ago? Nope didn't think you had an answer to that. And frankly, neither do I. I manage to get myself so caught up in much of this tangible work that I don't even have a plan of action. I just go with the flow I guess. It's either that or I'm incredibly talented and charismatic. I personally, think it's the latter but I'll leave that decision up to you. The IMF will stop at nothing to get the answers even if the rest of the organisation has been disavowed, having had Ghost Protocol initiated. But that begs the question, can a certain analyst aid them in their efforts? Or is he too, hiding something which goes deeper than anyone initially thought? Join Miles and the rest (or remaining) members of the IMF as they travel the world to stop a nuclear explosion from damaging humanity... I only own my OC's.* *I also don't own any of the pictures (including the cover image) in this story, I found them all on Pinterest.*

"Most people in the units, especially here on the front lines where they're sick and bored of all this shit-they call them gluts. Gluttons. Ravenous, insatiable. Zombies. Can't be a zombie if they're still alive. Which they are. They're just starving and out of their fucking minds. We can thank Arizona for that discovery." --- In Rustavi, Georgia, Kevin Kooper and his unit are in charge of cleaning up PCs --plagued civilians--that are still running out of control in Russia. Life is good in Red Rover Unit for Kevin. In a world where the government feels like it's run more like The Purge meets 28 Days Later, there's not much else he can do but survive, and he can't afford to be picky about how he spends his downtime or who is or isn't waiting on him when (if) he ever goes home to Washington. What more could he want? Still, on a whim, he signs up for the 'Letters from Home' program. A way for soldiers to talk to someone, get care packages, when they have little to no one left in the states. It's through this that he's matched with Toby Fritz. And it's through Toby that Kevin starts thinking he's worth more than the words scribed across the back of his uniform jacket that read, "Property of the US Army- PC Control Unit". After Kevin's time overseas is up, he finds himself back in the states, potentially face to face with his pen pal. Writing those heartfelt, personal words through a letter, and saying them in person, are two incredibly different things. Not to mention, war has a habit of following weary soldiers home (in more ways than old scars and nightmares). And Kevin's figuring out that the field isn't the only place that can turn into a warzone. -- This story is entirely based on fictional characters and events. Any names of people are purely coincidence. These are original characters following an original plot. Trigger warnings in tags. This story hasn't been edited fully for spelling or grammar.

Simon "Ghost" Riley was a trained SAS sniper who worked as a lieutenant at Task Force 141. Recently, Task Force received a mission from Laswell. A highly trained assassin who happened to be going around the world, stealing intel and weapons from different bases just to take on a few konnis. This assassin went by Zero. Zero was originally from Russia, staying with a few family friends. But zero decided to move away and join a Spanish military base, kill switch. Kill Switch had all different kinds of military men and women. Half being assassins, snipers, bomb squads, and psychotic detectives. This all just sounds like a normal base, right? Well, no. They use their skills in the most gruesome way possible to torture civilians for answers to what they know about the people connected to their mission. Because of her amazing skills and knowledge, Taks Force found it hard to come across her. It took them about half a year until they finally had a hit. Zero had moved from Spain to Germany, taking on a private military base, Kilgore. This time, for revenge. Zero had a past with these men that she left unspoken. For obvious reasons. To make matters worse for 141, Zero wore a mask to cover her identity, for reasons to painful to share. As soon as 141 reached kilgore, they took separate ways to cover more ground. The colonel of kilgore happened to bump into Zero, keeping her in harms way. That was until he came face to face with ghost, who wasn't going to leave the base without a fight. "you men fight like dogs." "and you fight like a bitch."

Slow burn, enemies to lovers fanfic. "Touching you was a bad idea." "The worst you've ever had." "Maybe I should stop." "If you do, I'll never forgive you." What happens when a blast from the past is the reason I get reassigned to Task Force 141? I was very clearly NOT what the men of 141 were expecting. I am not the man they thought was joining their group. Chaos ensues as we are tasked with tracking down four stolen missiles. Being teamed with these men was not what I was expecting. Especially catching the eyes of two notorious masked men.
