Kai Lenka is a fifteen year old schizophrenic and his best friend Oliver Tyle is apparently 'all in his head' according to Kai's therepist. But this supposed 'imaginary' friend is all that keeps Kai from tipping over the edge and doesn't scream or shout at him when he self harms. Yet Kai is absolute in his mind set that Oliver is real and no one can change his mind. Not even Oliver himself.
