Raine Russell suspected something was a little off when her religious aunt tried to kill her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly brave fallen angel, Reed Wilson, that her life finally began to make sense.
However, Reed proved to be special and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with walking. Raine soon learnt that Reed had taken an oath never to love a human being.
When Raine's aunt is found dead in her asylum, Raine realizes her own life is at risk.
Despite Reed's dark wings and eyes that only held the light, Raine finds herself falling for the fallen angel. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.
One night, a demon appears before Raine and warns her of a darkness within Reed. The demon gives Raine the ribbed Angel blade - the only weapon that can defeat a brave fallen angel.
Will Raine find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly Human?
