For all of you to understand how this all started, you'll need to know the basics.
My name is James Hernandez. I'm 16 and I'm currently in my junior year of high school. I love baking, reading all sorts of books, and hanging out with friends.
Yeah yeah, that's like the most simple things anyone can enjoy but hey, I like what I like.
Anyways, that's not really the point I'm trying to get at. My point is the most unexpected event has taken place in front of my entire school.
What happend you asked? I found my soul mate. And I don't mean I looked into the crowd of students in front of me and saw the one. I mean my destined partner that literally everyone has, turned up.
How do I know this? Simple. When we are in a close vicinity to our soul mates, our chests will light up as if we have a sign that says, "IT'S ME MOTHERFUCKER!" above our heads.
Of course I always imagined this moment to be magical and perfect. It's been rough though since my fantasy always seems to be shut down by homophobes saying I'll never find my soulmate.
Oh yeah I'm gay.
Sorry, I'm getting off topic again. As I was saying, I expected this moment to be great but instead it cause me to have a damn near heart attack.
Now why is that James? Well maybe because it happened in front of my entire school and my chest lit up for my number one homophobic bully.
Although he also has some explaining to do because he also lit up for me.
