Ever thought what it feels like to constantly supress your real emotions and to hide your honest opinions of those around you? In a word, how it feels like to wear a mask?
That's what Evangeline Elliott has been doing ever since she started working as a lady's maid. She is torn between two different worlds: hers and theirs - the noble and rich families from Yorkshire.
Set in England during the post-Edwardian era, this is the story of a young woman who arrives at Downton Abbey with only one goal in mind: to start fresh. Yet in spite of her attempt to stay out of trouble, she gets caught in in the middle of a family conflict, again. But this time, she is the one who unconsciously sets things in motion and what's more, she will have someone on her side, someone from "their" world.
"When two worlds collide" is a novel that deals with prejudices, sacrifice and, above all, the unfailing power of love.
