A single tear slipped down my cheek and I blinked again, my eyes only staying half open this time. There were heavy steps near me and I was gently dragged towards a source of heat. The point of warmth, seemingly another dragon, wrapped a thin purple-grey tail around my legs, raising my feet up to be propped up on a curved grey talon, angling me so that more of the blood would go to supply my upper body. Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
