The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. What does this new land hold hidden deep in the remnants of its former glory?Complete

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete

Darius needed her as mate but how can he accept someone in his late mates place? Excerpt: I stripped as I prepared for my run. Being a shifter I loved to run, even if this wasn't a normal run. It was a Mating Run. Our Shaman would do a ritual, say a prayer, and then I'd shift as I went into heat. I would get a one mile head start and then the males who were competing for me to be their mate would shift and run after me. I had a total of twenty miles laid out for me. No one but me and the Shaman knew the route I was taking. They'd be running up and down hills, along a ridge, through a river, through a system of caves and finally an all out mad dash the last three miles. The best, if their was a best, would catch me. Their last task was to convince my pup to submit and let them mount and claim me. If they couldn't and I made it back without being mounted then I was free. A barbaric rite but one that was a fact of our existence everyone who came of age did it. Males were more likely to pass and not get mounted. Females pretty much always got mounted. So I was doomed. Any male of any race was allowed to run. Though few outside the race of the runner tried. Since I was a Were-dog I was expecting mostly them.Complete

Dagur x Y/N inspired by Last_present dragon(s) Bloodborne- Blood fury- predator cannibal? hunts down other dragons though can and does eat other meats! main stream fire plus red plasma blasts. grows in stream heat is versatile to water and land not as fast as the Nightfury- anger issues so it loses its cool- calling is kinda like a mix of Toothlesses echolocation and the Deathsons call. AU- predatory cannibal! also bonds with one or two thi GA they really like and doesn't let go of it really possessive and protective. Tidal- Sea fury- mix between, shark (The way she swims) Scauldron and Changewing. as in the acid spit and boiling water, dislike of eels isn't as scared of them like other dragosn they aren't poisonous, cna create Tidal waves this process however is taxing, and takes a while not on the spot tidla waves aren't huge but can be deadly AU- females are dominant mates when it comes to dragons like most things in the animal world. yes I know ki g of dragosn and what not but I like the hyena monarchy anyway, often scolds her little dragon killing/eating bf. Starlight(real ones know where I got this idea)- Skrill electrical charge and stream, highly protective. Eats eels mainly enjoys other foods and loves metals! Doesn't like people who get close to you plus she at one point when you got sad hunted people down. AU- Skrills often bond with some. irn or something could be anything from a sheep to a piece of metal they like. change of pov's often first person (I, we,) Y/N the daredevil this is explained in the story!
