Binka just wanted to have fun, ever since she was a young Inkling she'd loved to watch turf wars on TV with her father and every month when a new splatfest came around Binka's father would take her down to the Plaza to watch on the huge screens. Unfortunately Binka's mother didn't quite feel the same way about these events and when Binka's father passed away from unknown reasons, her mother put a ban on anything to do with the 'stupid' sport and Binka never understood why...

Our protagonist: a spunky, clever, and determined Inkling named Zaki who runs away from home and goes to Inkopolis, hotspot of the biggest new sport: ink battles! She tries to find her niche as a battler and makes a few friends along the way, like the kind but fussy Mikado, an introspective sharpshooter named Keiso, and Teruo, a self-proclaimed roller gal with a sparkling personality, but she also finds a few rivals... Oh, and she also gets roped into becoming Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon, on a mission to rescue the Zapfish from the Octarians, who have returned after the Great Turf War of 100 years ago. So she's living the dream, but she's also living a bizarre double life. One she'll have to keep from her friends. They wouldn't want her doing shady stuff, right? I do not own Splatoon or any of the characters except for Zaki, Mikado, Keiso, Teruo, Biito, and a few minor characters. Cover design is mine. In a colorless world of order, Agent 8 and their team destroyed Order itself and reduced it down to a being called Smollusk. After climbing the tower with each palette, every soul Smollusk absorbed into the Memverse were freed. Everyone is finally back to normal! "Huh?
