Hayden (An Eragon Shadeslayer love story)

Hayden Berkeley is a poor village girl with a lust for adventure. Needless to say, when she hears about a fearsome dragon rider Eragon fighting to defend Alegaësia and destroy the evil king, she wants nothing more than to be his sidekick. The problem is that she doesn't know him; she only knows the stories. One fateful night, however, after suffering one of many abuses by the hand of her father, Hayden sets out to find the dragon rider and escape her life. She finds much more than her adventure as a romance begins to blossom between the spirited girl and the brave rider.

**This story starts at the end of Brisingr, because I don't really want to start after Inheritance. This will contain spoilers, so make sure you've read through at least Brisingr.
