In a world where skin color determines your role in society, a girl is born. Too dark to be noble, too Blue to be common, she is destined to live in limbo. This is the first of three stories I've written in a series about development and growth in some kind of metaworld beyond time. (the other two are partially planned and partially written) I have no formal training and seriously question my abilities as a story teller, but I can dream big dreams and so I'll try and share them with you, as well as I can. She looks up at me, her eyes on fire, "Asher, give me one good explanation on why you won't let me leave!" I step forward, and she takes a step back, her back pressing against the wall, trapped. "Come on, kitten, I know you don't really want to leave," I state. Her eyes narrow, "what makes you think that?" I smirk, "stop pretending you don't want to kiss me right now." ************************************************** Asher Bates is the bad boy and underground fighter, and Soyer Hill wants nothing to do with him. He's not used to being told no, and he won't let Soyer be an exception to that. But will his stubbornness and her denial cause them to hate each other more or will it make them fall?
