Dead trees bristled as the wind raced past them, howling with laughter. Packets of once good chips roamed the ground... Imagine a world without light, a world full of darkness. Imagine having to face solitude, heat, darkness and fear. The fear of the unknown or the fear of the known. War IS Peace Freedom IS Slavery Ignorance IS Strength

I have forgotten what it feels like to be free. To have a voice. I can't say anything, or else they might catch me. My parents would never forgive me. I'll be arrested. Maybe even killed. Probably killed. We didn't open our eyes in time to see the train come barreling down the tracks. It crushed our freedom, burned our self-worth, and now we have to pay the price. All because we didn't see it coming. The American Constitution doesn't apply to us. All of the activists were silenced. And now it's all coming back to bite us. We'll just have to bite back harder. ( *This story is Dystopian, not Action. Wattpad doesn't have that Genre as an option. Thanks, Wattpad.* )
