One day, however, this all changes. With the arrival of the notorious Marvin and his cold hearted dragon, Liam is no longer safe. In a tale of magic, mystery, good vs. evil, and a deadly weapon, Liam will have to take a wizard's pick.

For the fae, magic is everything: status, power, wealth, honor. For Vera Reite, a fae born with no magic, it is a shameful reminder that she will never amount to anything. Whispers of a fae-killing monster begin to circulate the Moon Court. It lurks in the woods, feeding off the mana of its victims. Those that go missing and find themselves at the mercy of the beast are never seen or heard from again. However it can just as often cause problems that Finn would rather not have to deal with. Such as when a miscast spell causes Archie to disappear without a trace. And then it isn't long before the magical pleas for help start arriving. So, armed with the name of a beach on the mysterious Arys Isle, Finn sets out to find him. But Arys Isle is a strange place and the people are even stranger.
