The war is over, and the Wizarding World isn't sure how to feel. Should they dance with joy or weep in grief? Many loved ones were lost, but Voldemort is gone - for good this time.
  
Harry Potter wants to live his own life now. Being an Auror sounds like a good idea - he'd wanted to be one since the age of 14.
  
But one evening celebration changes that, at least for a little while.
  
As luck has always been on Harry's side, he, along with Hermione, Ron, and Ginny, is thrown back in time to 1977 - the Marauders' seventh year.
  
Set in 1977-1978 (The Marauders graduate in June 1978)

This story is based on JK Rowling's characters from the series Harry Potter. I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school. Sirius finds himself intrigued by a Slytherin girl he'd never taken the time to notice before, and a student transfer from Ilvermorny has caught the eye of Remus. Of course James is still battling for Lilly's attention, hoping to prove how much he's matured over the summer months. Undeniable attraction pulls these students together, but house division, many secrets, and a Dark Lord's growing influence threatens to tear them apart. Will they find a way to conquer their differences and pull together to face the coming war, or will the bonds of friendship fail the Marauders once and for all? Please comment! Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her. His boyfriend dumped him for some chick. Remus was done crying over him. Lily Evans had many friends and a great boyfriend to boot but, James Potter would not leave her alone. She was tired of dealing with him and his bullying ways. Her boyfriend was her best friend as was Remus Lupin. Severus Snape had a wonderful girlfriend. What more did he need. No it was true he did not have many friends but, he had one true one. Severus hated the Marauders but, Remus started hanging with him things changed. Yes he still hated the Marauders but, he saw that Remus was a good person deep down. James Potter and Sirius Black ruled Hogwarts. They got everything and anything that they wanted. James was sorely pissed that Snape had the girl that he thought was his. Sirius was highly upset that Remus hadn't listened to him on anything. They said school was hard but, life is harder. Remus moves in with Lily and her boyfriend Severus. James and Sirius take the mark. While Peter is left deciding what to do.
