Every baby in the vampire world is given a pendant at birth. This pendant determines who their soulmate is. Amelia Renee meets her mate through a game who turns out to be the Royal Princess of the Vampires of Verzia when she realizes their pendants call out to each other. They become close, and as they become close, they discover different things about each other. On one wretched and stormy day, Lydiana and Amelia get the horrible news that both Lydia's mom and dad and Amelia's mother has been tragically lost due to uncontrollable weather conditions while on the way to meet with other royal families. Devastated with the news the new brides are now queens, whether they are ready or not. A while has passed since the passing of both their parents, and since they've taken on the role of the new Queens of Verzia; they decided to adopt a little half-blood vampire girl. Naming her Arabella, she brings light and joy to their lives. After adopting little Arabella, Amelia and Lydia knew that their daughter was going to be special, but nothing could prepare them for what was to come. Arabella held within her a power and blood so strong others would try anything to get to it. Arabella has the deadly power of Biokinesis. Rogue vampires get wind of the existence of Arabella and try to hunt and track her down. Malachi, the leader of the Rogue vampires, brainwashes several vampires to fight alongside him to try and obtain Arabella's power. The aftermath of the brawl, only one Rogue vampire remains after Malachi made his escape which is Aleksander. While nearing him, Arabella's pendent glows and so does his. Upon the news of Aleksander and Arabella's intertwined fate, they swear vengeance after Malachi
