Today, August 17, 2015, is my 19th wedding anniversary to my wife, Frances (pictured).  I wrote a song for her last year about the night we met.  That fateful encounter happened at a college hangout called the Elbow Room, in Columbia, SC, during a Hootie & The Blowfish performance in 1991.  I would like to share it with the Wattpad community on our special day.  When I wrote it, I had the rhythm and tempo of John Mellencamp's "Jack & Diane" in my head.  This is my first post on Wattpad.  I hope you enjoy!All Rights Reserved

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again.
