Meet Lily White. She's smart and pretty but absolutely hates jocks. A popular jock broke her heart and humiliated her in high school. It left her traumatized and vowed to avoid jocks at all cost. Players on the field or court also love playing with her heart.

Now, she's in her senior year in college and she has managed to survive almost four years with minimal to no interaction with jocks of any kind. Unfortunately fate has plans of its own and she ends up partnered with one of the school's famous jock, Mark Foster. He personifies the classic jock: popular, handsome and rich. All the girls love him and all the boys wanna be him. But sometimes he shows parts of himself that surprises Lily and she wonders if there are jocks worth falling in love with.

There's lots of fighting and teasing between the two. But Lily finds solace from her secret pen pal. A mysterious guy who leaves notes for her in the library. On paper he's sensitive and touches parts of her heart she forgot existed with words. She just wish he'd introduce himself and let her fall in love with him in person before she considers falling in love with the jock.
