Everyone has a story to tell. Almost everybody as least. Some people like Umi can't remember their story. None like Umi will do anything to find the book of their past. Something she wants more than anything because Umi believes her past has a greater impact on her future than life.

   There is something in the Mist Village more terrifying than the nickname itself. Umi truly gives 'The Bloody Mist' something to talk about. But what will she encourage in the other Hidden Villages as she's searching desperately for her lost memory? We can only hope it's something good, because that's something she seems to lack.

A/N: Guys plz, this story is discontinued on this account. 😭😭 So many people are still putting it in their reading lists that I feel bad. I'm rewriting it on another account, the account is @-_-lemme_sleep (I think) I commented on the last chapter of this story with it so if you just click on the comments on the last chapter you'll see that account. And I'm rewriting it so please red from the beginning. My name is Min Ae-ri Shin ... Or it was that. One day as I was taking a bus home from my college as usual while playing an otome game on my phone since I was regularly one of the last few people to get off the bus an... An incident happened which lead me to an early death. If this had happened a few years ago I would have probably celebrated this. However, since the universe just hates me so much It decided to take me when I was finally free from one of my greatest chains. My "family". But that didn't even compare to what happened next... I thought that after dying I would finally be set free of this crappy world, but instead... I just got transmigrated into a worse one. As the villainess. Now I'm stuck in this damn game trying to get one of the many interests who were supposed to ruin my life as a villainess to kill me so that I could possibly return back to my original world whether it was in my original body or by reincarnation since this damn game wouldn't let me die on my own. Now the question was will I be able to somehow return back to my original world or chained to my dreadful fate as the villainess?

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.
