He was the most deadly creature of the night. The most feared alpha there was, he was known to have a joy for inflicting pain on others. Nobody wanted to cross paths with him. They say the beast inside of him was stronger than the human form of him. He was the wolf parents kept their children away from and told stories about to make them behave. He was alpha Springer. She was sweet, but she wasn't a push over. She was loved by her pack and known for her fiery temper. She was smart and loyal. Sometimes she was bullied, but she never let it get to her. She was well trained in the fighting department and no one from her pack could beat her combat battles. She was Arabella. ........................... Excerpt from story "Stay away from me," I said shakily. Apart of me wanted the wolf to stay as far away as possible, yet another part was intrigued by the dark eyes of the wolf and wanted him to come closer. It scared me a bit because I knew exactly who he was, and exactly what he was to me. The large beast standing in front of me just stared at me. He then began to come closer. Every step he took made me take a step back. This continued until my back was against a tree trunk. I could feel my heart hammering inside my chest for way to many reasons. I was afraid, yet I felt the mate bond pulling me towards him. He let out a low menacing growl that sent shivers down my spine. Mate. Mate. Mate. Mate. My wolf kept chanting that one word inside my head. I then felt little drops of something hitting my head. I looked up into the sky and saw the gray clouds that had formed. I hadn't even noticed. I glanced at my mate and saw he too had averted his attention to the sky. I took this as my opportunity. I brought my left foot up in a swift motion and kicked him in the face. Without any other hesitation, I ran.

My mum always used to tell me what it's like to see your mate for the first time. She used to say that at that moment, everything around you stopped, that nothing else mattered. And nothing else would matter. If it wasn't for the little girl clinging to my leg right now. That little girl that trusts me with her life, that beautiful little girl that made me hold on and not give up on life. That little girl, whose father is standing in front of me right now. He's my mate. The edges of his lips curve and he looks up and down as if checking me out. "Long time no see." Are the words that first come out of his mouth that break the silence. ~~~~~~~~~~ Lexie is an Alpha's daughter. She faces a hard few days and thinks a night at the club will help her get through this. A few drinks won't hurt, right? At least that's what she thinks. Yet that night will change everything sooner than she would ever imagine. When the next day, her pack gets attacked, everything is chaos. Her mother and father are killed and her world shatters. She's forced to run away and leave everyone that she still has left behind. She thinks she has no one... that's until she finds out about another heartbeat in her body. Raising a baby on your own is hard enough. After a few years she finally meets her mate though and it turns out she knows him after all. How will she confess that her mate is actually her daughter's father? What will happen now? We don't live in a fairy tale where every story has a happy ending though. Real world isn't that easy...if you can call a world full of mystical creatures very real.
