Jeanine Mathews died of a heart attack before she could tell anyone of her plan and an Abnegation transfer took her place as Erudite leader. Besides that everything is the same. So no war and this book starts at the beginning so she goes through the training and stuff.... first idea that i probably will stick with please read.

#42 in Divergent (08/15/2018) #7 in Tris Prior (08/15/2018) #8 in Tobias Eston (08/15/2018) Disclaimer: I do not own the Divergent Series. FourTris prevent the war on abnegation, but before Jeanine goes down she reveals that Tris is divergent. How will the people react? What will happen next? This story is over 400K words long and there are several tie-ins connected to the main story. I will let you know along the way. Also, the drabble series "Moments We Share" and the one-shot "Shotgun" are glimpses into the future. To be read after this story and it'll make more sense. However, the drabbles were written at the same time as the main story and sometimes, chronologically speaking, things turned out a little different in YAMATW. I started posting this story over a year ago on FanFiction.Net, where I use the same username as here. I will try to update as often as I can, but I wanted to edit the story a little. If you can't wait for updates look for it there or using my blog in the profile description. You can comment here of course or there, but keep in mind I can't reply to guests on fanfiction.net. Ordinary Acts of Bravery [A Divergent Fanfic]
Octavia transfers to Dauntless and immediately draws the attention of the last man she should ever want: Eric Coulter. He looks at her-and sees a ghost. Someone he lost. Someone he failed. What begins as hostility sharpens into obsession, then into something far more dangerous as initiation brutalizes them both and the city edges toward war. The longer he watches her, the clearer it becomes- She isn't the ghost. And he is not the man he was before it. She came to Dauntless to find where she belongs. Instead, she finds him-and a love built in the space between violence, grief, and everything neither of them knows how to name. It is not safe. It is not easy. It is tested-by fear, by secrets, by choices neither of them can take back. By the truth that loving each other may be the most dangerous thing either of them does. When the city fractures, they are pulled apart-by duty, by survival, by the decisions meant to protect each other. Octavia rises. Eric breaks. And as the world collapses, they are left standing in the wreckage- still choosing each other anyway.Complete

So, we meet again huh?
Lilian Matthews, Jeanine Matthews daughter. She was smart, very smart but she knew Erudite wasn't for her. She preferred physical rather than mental. Jeanine understood this, and she urged her daughter to transfer to Dauntless. Her daughter knew of her plans and was all for it. What happens when she gets to Dauntless and sees her childhood friend that transferred a year before her, and she has feelings for? Will their still be sparks or will he be a completely different person? I do not own Divergent or any others of the series. I also do not own any other the characters other than Lilian!
