A Growing Element

A plague has hit the Earth. Humanity itself is poising the world, at the cause of the 2081melvirus that struck humanity with a vengeance. Though not attacking humanity itself, their very footsteps create cracks in the world. A brand of new humans, the elementals, have been taken in by the government for study, whether by force or option is unknown. Echo, a "odd" elemental is part of the rebellion against the gov. since they are not affected by the melvirus, they can walk the Earth without fear of hurting it. But what waits outside the comfy wall of home. Plants. Animals. They've all changed. But then again, so has humanity.
