Everyone always thought that Leslie fell into the river, died due to injuries. A broken rope and a flooded river was enough to make anyone believe what looked be the simplest answer to a tragic death, but what if they were wrong? With an empty casket and a magical land full of unexplainable creatures and places, who's to say that she didn't just disappear. Who's to say that maybe the things that we can't see are the things that are right in front of us? All you have to do is keep your mind clear and your eyes...wide open.

A woman (who had kids and a husband) had lost her life. This initially started a spiral of thoughts leading to the creation of this story. There are a lot of mirroring qualities between my life and Maribell's, but unlike the lovely woman who had passed (I personally don't know her, but may she rest in peace), I don't have kids or a significant other, so I had to put my own spin on things.
