Trinity Sanders has a hard enough life with her parents always fighting and her boyfriend being the jealous type. But when she meets a new guy in town, Carter, her boyfriend isn't all too keen on them being friends and does the unthinkable.

Trinity, appalled and terrified by her boyfriend's behaviour, decides to call up Carter to go on an impromptu "road trip" to get away from her messed up life.
