Această poveste urmărește viața la Academia Cross(Cruce), o academie de vampirii și oameni care trăiesc în pace și liniște.Teritoriul academiei este împărțit in două:în Clasa de Noapte unde se afla căminul vampirilor si Clasa de zi unde se afla căminul oamenilor(elevii oameni neștiind că, Clasa de Noapte este căminul vampirilor, ei crezând că este o clasa avansată, elevii oameni apreciandu-i si idolatrizându-i pe elevii vampirii de la Clasa de Noapte).Aceasta fiind ideea fondatorului Headmaster Kaien Cross unul dintre cei mai puternici vânătorii de vampirii de Nivel E(Cei mai agresivi vampirii, transformați din oameni în vampirii de către Vampirii cu Sange Pur), pentru a putea dovedii că și vampirii pot trăi alături de oamenii fară ai seca de sânage și ai răni. Vampirii sunt clasați in 4 categori:Vampirii Oariginali(cei mai puternici vampirii din intreaga lume, creeați de vrăjitoare); Vampirii cu Sânge Pur, adică Pur Sânge( vampirii creeații din doi Vampirii Originali, clasați pe al doile loc la putere); Vampirii Nobili(creeații dint-un Pur Sange si un Originali, sau dintre un Pur Sânge și un Nobil, în zilele de azi ).
