Darcy Lemons was a girl that simply didn't have the life most kids her age had. She was sixteen, she lived in a crappy house, and she was raising her little sister as if she was her own child. Life just didn't have much in store for Darcy, especially since she never knew who her father was. When Darcy was four, she found out that her mother's boyfriend wasn't her father. Then it seemed her mother just got with every guy after that to cover up the fact that Darcy wanted to know the truth. On her sixteenth birthday, Darcy's mother came home from the hospital with a baby. She handed the baby to Darcy and said "happy birthday," and that was how the girl ended up with the child. Her mother was never home, and the one guy that her mother had been with that had even tried raising Darcy with some parental advice was in jail.
