Savannah wakes up in a strange room with no memory of her past. She is found by a robot named GLaDOS and she is forced to do many tests. To pass these tests Savannah is given two portal guns. When Savannah is testing she sometimes notices another person testing but GLaDOS never allows Savannah to speak to the other tester or be seen by her. One day Savannah is testing with new creatures called 'Turrets.' This is when something miraculous happens. Savannah is able to speak with the deadly turrets! The turrets tell her a shocking secret that she must not tell anyone. When GLaDOS finds out that Savannah knows the secret GLaDOS begins to plan on how to destroy Savannah once and for all. What is this mysterious secret? What is GLaDOS planning? Who is this other tester? Will Wheatley be in this story? (If I feel like it, the moron will be in this story)

Okay so hi! This is my first story. It's pretty basic. It's set in the maze. I changed a LOT from the original book, for example, everyone's already there, but it's pre-newticide attempt. Also, Theresa does. not. exist. One more thing: I DO NOT TRIGGER AN ENDING. I AM NOT THE LAST ONE. Many of the characters that I add are based off of friends, family and acquaintances who I think would fit well into the maze. Lastly, the maze was placed by the creators for a completely different reason, not the Trials. I'm not going to tell you the reason. Finally, there is no way out. Subject 3281; Chell's Story
Test. That was what she did, and Subject 3281 did it well. She was the model subject, fit, strong, on time, and most of all... obedient. That's how she was, until one fateful day, when the higher-ups at Aperture Science figured that they could get more out of their testing if two subjects were present, and so launched the "Aperture Science Co-operative Testing Initiative", pairing Subject 3281 with another Test subject. A boy. A boy who forced Subject 3281 to re-think her complacency, to yearn for freedom as they all did. To begin thinking like the girl she had been; instead of the person she had become. ~----------------------------------~ So, I was writing a short story one day, and realized that--with a bit of tweaking--this could turn into a Portal 2 fan-fic! While I do believe that Blue Sky is the BEST fan-fic for Portal 2 out there, and deserves to be canon, I think that this is still a relatively believable Chell backstory. (This is set after Cave Johnson's death, and before Caroline/GLaDOS killed everyone but the test subjects with neurotoxin, and placed Chell in stasis.) Enjoy! This is not a Chelley fan-fic, and doesn't include Wheatley, as this is set prior to the timeline of the first game. I don't own Portal, Portal 2, or the characters in the game; but this story is my own, from my imagination.
