I opened the door of the abandoned house. I walked in and with every step I heard a squeaky sound. I heard a sound coming from up the stairs. I climbed the staircase and found myself in a big room . I heard the sound again and it stop at another room, then I heard a scream that sounded like my friend Emma. Emma she couldn't be here. then I heard it again. I started running to the direction of the scream, I called her name but she didn't reply. I stopped running when I reached at the entrance of a big dinning room with the chandelier shinning bright. I walked in and on the table there was Emma's motionless body with a knife sticking out of her stomach waiting to welcome me. This guy with nice hair and really purple eyes appeared in front of me. I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. She keeps hearing faint whispers she says "Anyone there?" but no response.She receives a text on her phone from her friends that they are on the third floor waiting for her.
