My name is Lauren, I’m 17 years old, and this is the story of how I single-handedly saved Wattpad from malicious sabotage on the Watty Awards entries closing night in 2012.

Mind you, if you had completed and submitted your stories well ahead of the deadline, like my best friend Rachel did, and spent the evening celebrating Halloween instead of glued to a computer screen, you would have missed it all.
