Rebecca is 18 years old. At a young age her father sexually molested her and her mother died of a drug overdose. She ran away from home to a naboring friend’s house. She lived there and became really close with her friend Gabriella. What’s she’s been through causes her not to be able to trust almost everyone around her and to be nervous and shaky all the time. She also gets horrific flashbacks. Gabriella is the only one she trusts. She feels Gabriella is the only one who understands. Gabriella gets a new boyfriend, Keaton. Being like sisters even though Rebecca moved out she spends a lot of time at Gabriella’s house. She sees Keaton a lot. Keaton falls in love with Rebecca because she’s different. Keaton wants to help Rebecca learn to love again, but that means hurting Gabriella. Rebecca likes Keaton but she could she do that to the only person that’s always been there for her?
