Matt is 14 year old boy who lives in Dallas, Texas. After seeing an ad in the newspaper he starts working in a spy agency (M22) seeking a teenager to work undercover in a Russian school. Two weeks pass and he isn't able to find any information that M22 needs. M22 fires Matt due to a failed mission. The second week of his first year in high school something strange happens. Matt is looking out the window during school and sees a plane coming toward the school. After a few seconds he sees other planes and realizes that they are going to crash into the school. He runs out of the the school, barely escaping the fire and explosions. But now he is outside and some planes are landing. Russian soldiers are coming out of the planes and start shooting everybody. Matt is able to escape with a few friends and makes his way to a forest a few hours away. At the verge of World War III, Matt is given a choice: Fight or die

Within a North Dakotan town, he has to face the challenges of taking care of his sick mother, making money through any means necessary. However, after surviving a gun shot wound that should've been fatal did Austin come to the realization of newly awakened abilities. From this newfound realization does Austin decide to start leading a double life thanks to the encouragement of a friend. During this time does he discover that there's an organization within the shadows wanting him, and all others like him, dead. Note: This is a prequel to my story Xtravaganza. That story is not a required read to understand this one, but both stories do take place within the same universe.

Written in 2014 the storyline involves an almost crystal ball view of Putin's growing aggression towards Ukraine. Mikhailya Groschev was born in the year 1952 in the Soviet Union controlled Ukraine. Her father is an Astrophysicist and a Cosmonaut, her Mother a successful doctor. Their family along with four other families is selected to participate in colonizing Mars at the time when America thinks it is winning the Space Race. A new Element is discovered on Mars that turns the mission and Mikhailya's life upside down. The mission fails as the Mars colony is rapidly falling apart, an immediate evacuation is ordered and lives turn upside down. Mikhailya's parents are cold-bloodily murdered and chaos ensues. Once the crew makes their return journey to Earth the next adventure begins. New characters are introduced and a chase across Europe from the Ukraine to Paris gets underway, the out of place Soviet teens must develop new allies while being weary of potential enemies. Due to the stabilizing properties of the limited amount of the new element they bring back to Earth, it becomes a highly sought after prize. There is espionage (NSA, KGB), kidnapping and a little romance too. Determined to keep what remains of her family whole, Mikhailya finds herself tackling adversity and overcoming odds that seem nearly insurmountable, just when she thinks they are getting ahead they fall back and need to regroup. The team gets separated and each group has their own hurdles to face as they adjust to the news of the USSR crumbling and nowhere to turn.
