Since the disappearance of her cousin James, Sarah Earnshaw has struggled with the guilt that she may of had something to do with it. stuck in the Earnshaw Estate she finds herself unabler to leave the past behind. Along with the village's new doctor, Harrison, Sarah attempts to find out what happened to her cousin in order to move on with her life.
