Bambii Rorke has a history of behavioral difficulties, a washed-up punk rocker for a mother, and a questionable sense of personal decency. Nobody is surprised when infidelity causes her father and younger brother to move to New York. Even the rumors that her new stepfather-to-be is a cult leader serving a life sentence is barely shocking. It almost feels like the natural progression of things when the troubled 16 year old stops attending classes and her house is found vacant. What IS shocking is the news that, just over a year later, she is apprehended for participation in a series of sadistic torture-murders the likes of which the nation has never seen. But her guilt and the guilt of a 19-year-old accomplice, Wyatt Baak, is called to question when evidence suggests that their involvement was forced.

Through a series of debates, news articles, diary entries, interviews, and conflicting 'nonfiction 'sources, "The Pound Cult Martyrs" tells a bone-chilling tale of fear, manipulation, and brainwashing.
