A Darkness is rising. It's slowly spreading across the world of Holigrith, choking out the light. It seeps into the heart of man, creating wars, murderers, madmen...but no one even notices.   They all go about their daily life's ignoring the evil that lurks in shadow and time.     Only four children can stop it.     Children that don't even know each other until the night of The Summoning. Each one of them is equally important. But the Darkness knows it. It seeks to drive each of them mad by playing on each of their weaknesses. To destroy this unspeakable evil, they must awaken The Guardians. Powerful beings which have watched over their earth since time first began.  But they have been asleep for over a thousand years. They're not only on this quest to save their world. When I looked back, there was nothing. Just an endless pit of darkness. It was then that I knew that it had found us. This dream somehow finds me ever night. And every night I wake up in absolute confusion. I have no memory of my parents or where I came from. The only true constant of my existence is the visits that my nightmares make at night and during the day. I have yet to understand the echos of them. Until I find myself where it all began: at Pearl Academy.
