Rae is now half way through her 4th year in high school. She can't wait to be done with high school.
Having turned 17 in August, everything is the exact same when she was a freshman: she was still the wallflower in the back row, she still only had one friend, she still had a A- grade average but the only new thing how weird her foster parent had been acting strange ever since her sickness.
When a boy notices her for the first time ever, her world is flipped upside down. She finds out she was never a human being at all. She was actually one of the 9 draulo races of the magical world and that meant she was part dragon. She finds her self climbing and clawing to survive from the Draulo King to save herself and the 9 eternal elements burning inside her.
What you are supposed to do when your being hunted down by powerful draulos that want to kill you and all you have to defend yourself is powers you can't control?
